Diverse Supply Chain Sdn. Bhd. (DSC) has collaborated with local industry players, including the Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association (MYBHA), Malaysia Tourism Agency Association (MATA), and the ASEAN Retail-Chains and Franchise Federation (ARFF), to introduce high-tech robotic solutions to Malaysia’s hospitality, tourism, and retail industry.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) marks a significant milestone in the effort to showcase Malaysia as an innovative nation and promote it as a popular tourist destination that prioritizes the tourism experience. The collaboration announcement coincides with the launch of KEENON’s first robots showroom in Southeast Asia, located at Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya.
The collaboration will see the distribution of AI-powered robots, including KEENON’s BUTLERBOT W3, to hotels, food & beverage outlets, retailers, and healthcare players in Malaysia and Singapore. The deployment of service robots is expected to increase productivity, deliver a consistent guest experience, and educate workers on efficiency enhancement.
